I've been floating

pelican floating near the Bolivar Peninsula

I know a little about a lot of things,
but not a lot about anything...

most of what I know, I taught myself
mostly I don't know things, I feel them
mostly I feel them deeply, but not always
and I tend to ramble... a lot
and wonder why they put pimentos in olives

sometimes I just need to float for awhile
to organize my thoughts
to synchronize them with my voice

I find myself when I float... and when I do...
my voice is refreshed... and ready to ramble

YAY for refreshing your voice and your soul..........glad to see you back and ok. Was worried about you!

Pimentoes in olives for me, plz.
Pimentoes in cheese?
Oh yes! but don't tease....
I'll be back for more of your words
for they warm my heart with ease!

So funny..., I can say pretty much the same thing about myself. While my husband is a walking Encyclopedia with many worldly interests, I am absolutely not.
Oh, check out my giveaway over @ Completely Coastal. I hope you like it.

Yay, Julia's back! Funny, I posted for the first time in three weeks today, too...we must be on the same schedule. I'll arm wrestle you for the pimento in the olive. (You know I will.)

Sometimes we are swimming so fast in this whirlwind of life and we need to take time to float and find our inner peace. Glad to see you are back!

That was very well said. Sometimes floating is the best thing we can do for ourselves.
