Mr. November

my full moon photo, in it's altered state

he's a thief!
he arrives uninvited,
to steal my daylight hours...
but he brings me the moon
and opens my mind to the sight of what might be,
if I allow myself
to look past what my eyes see

What a positive way of thinking about November!! Sometimes we just have to look at the positive side of life!! Less sunshine...but more moonlight:)

And it is a full moon tonight...a gorgeous one at that! We now have more time to enjoy it's beauty...but I do like it's bigger brother the sun!

i loved the moon tonight. so lovely. even though it is 8:30 and feels like midnite, I definitely want to enjoy the beauty in the moonlight before I go night night!

We stopped to take in the moon tonight too. It was beautiful, but your picture makes it even more amazing. I always look forward to your words. Peace.

Julia,

Your words and photos are luminous.

Your moon is exquisite.

Unfortunately, I missed mine. I could've seen it rise from the ocean, but I forgot!

Your turtle picture is wonderful!

Your blog is so peaceful.

Thank you.

Beautiful...both the photo and the poem.

I have been on the east coast for the past few days...the moon rising over the Atlantic was spectacular!
