Occasionally I simply offer a little vignette, & hope it speaks to you, or through you.
Will you share a little of the story you see in the photo above, in 3 sentences or less?

23 little pearls:
She was disappointed...
This was certainly no horse & carriage ... but a tin can as a honey moon suite??? his scrimping had gone too far.. xxx
She came to the sea with the man she loves. They pedalled casually, talking, laughing, sharing nothing important but the day. It was the exchange of each others time to one another that mattered and all was made more delightful with a little shaved ice near a joyfully colored truck under a palm tree. Sea Witch
She sees shaved ice by the sea shore...:)
She (me!) loves tall majestic palm trees!
She is having the time of her life!
She is remembering the beach of her youth. There were wonderful goodies available to eat and a big ocean to play in. Life on the strand was so fun.
Blessings,
Marcia
She really just wanted to sit on the beach and read her book. He wanted to go for a ride. She made a deal with him.
She wants him to hurry up and finish his shaved ice.... so they can go for a walk on the beach.

She is in love........
with the man or the sea or maybe it is just the shaved ice that has her heart racing!!!
She wondered how the driver was able to get a palm tree to grow on the roof of his truck...
She lives happily ever after selling Shaved Ice down by the sea:):)
She pulled up beside the vendor selling shaved ice on that hot summer day. The only thing hotter than the sun was his temper. She decided that a Hawaiian Chill was just what she needed…leaving him to chill out on his own!
I saved the best for last, so nice to see "first word" back, I always enjoyed this so.
Oh, I just realized that my last sentence could be taken the wrong way! I didn't mean my comment was best, I meant this post was my favorite while I was catching up on your blog, lol. Must remember to be more careful, lol.
She woke up that morning, wondering what the day would bring. Little did she know, it would be one of the most perfect of days! A good friend, a great cold treat and the georgeous sea as a backdrop to all. At the end of the day, she said to herself "what a perfect day!"
She was going to tell him - she had waited for days - for hours - for the right moment. This was not what she had planned - but there they were - and he had to be told~~~

She wondered why every other cart on the Island called it "shave ice"...surely this sno-cone cart was an impostor from the mainland!
LOL, sorry, but that was the first thing that hit me. They were all called shave ice last time we were there.
Lovely image!
She thinks he is hot. She thinks the shaved ice is cool. She thinks this is the perfect combination!
She brought the cart to an awkward stop, tears threatening to spill over in spite of her attempts to deny them. He shook his head sadly as he stepped out onto the path, and said, “I never did claim to love you; it’s hardly my fault you jumped to that conclusion”. Keeping her gaze fixed stonily ahead, she swiped roughly at her eyes and drove on into the first day of her life without him…
Okay, my story is a little bleak, but I wrote the first thing that came to my head. I love this exercise!! Can I play some more if you do it again?
Thanks so much for stopping by my place...:)

She gazes longingly at the beach, desiring to take one step and then another towards the water. It beckons her, whispering her name, but she must wait until he is ready to take her hand and join her. She is not ready to go alone.
I'm a little late to the party. She learned so much after she turned 50. She learned that growing old is a gift. The wisdom that comes with it is priceless.

She wonders if she should just eat a sno cone since there aren't any shells on the beach. ;) This is so fun- sorry I'm so late to the party!
She had always wanted to live by the sea where she could live in flip flops all year round.
Just couldn't resist this ~ it is so fun! I love the pictures you post on your blog!
Have a blessed week! ~ Katie
