Stuck

sometimes I get really stuck

my obstacles suddenly seem like mountains

and the world looms large, like a dark minefield

then the sun peeks out,
(with his rays of hope)

and I see someone special ...
who's reached the place where I want to be

their accomplishments inspire me...
my legs feel brave again

and I usually find
that at least some of what seemed to be mountains
are just... little... molehills

Just what I needed, thanks Julia. Such beautiful, heart-felt words and images. Thank you too for your kind, supportive words on my blog. My Grandma passed away last night. Very peacefully. Exactly 92 and 11 months old to the day. An amazing life. Pruxxx

You could be on to something with GM's photography!? Never thought of that before... She certainly was a classic. There is sadness but also amazement that she lived so long. Quite fascinating. My poor old GD is not good. We have to be super strong for him. You are so lovely for leaving such a gorgeous post. Pruxxx

beautiful reminders.... thanks Julia. hermit crabs are really something special, we always have to be careful when we pick up perwinkle shells at Half Moon Bay - lots of hermit crabs have made these little blue shiny shells their mobile homes.

I call the mountains in my life..., mountains of "bad" thoughts (from doubt to powerless...).
