The name of the oasis

the place
of my beginning
the reason
I am me

singer of lullabies

soother...
believer...
keeper of my youth

more precious
than ~ silver ~

more
comforting

more
true

joyfully, gracefully

lifting me
up...

an oasis of love

the giver of my journey... the creator of my heartbeat,

loving, unconditionally... always...

tender, yet strong ~ forever my home...

worth more than diamonds, worth more than air
the name of the oasis... is Mother

This is beautiful. I almost cried. Seriously. I lost my mom when I was 12, that's when I had to leave Charleston (the reason for my blog's name), orphaned, to live in the city far from everything I'd known.

I love this post. I bet your mom knows how blessed she is to have you too. I hope my children write such loving words about me one day!

The photos are so beautiful too...
