13 little pearls:
I have learned many things over the past few weeks, but one thing is for sure, stillness is wonderful at times when everything is moving so fast around me. Thanks for your sweet comments last week. xx
I think you've just about hypnotized me, girl! I'm feeling loose as a goose!

So beautiful and calming my friend. I learned that I need to learn how to do that, be liquid and be free. I long to be still and hopefully one day I can achieve that. Until then, your posts and images of the sea and that around it sooth my soul.
That was like a breath of fresh air. I find it easy to let go when I'm near the water...and easy to be tense when I'm in the snow:(
Beautiful Julia...
Myself and another guy tried to capture a shot of a pelican the other day and some buffoon chased it away..
These are truly gorgeous shots.. and I really need to 'be still'... I'll do that later today and think of you and this gorgeous post..
Have a great week .. ciao xxx Julie
Ahhhhhh...
Sweet Julia,
I am captivated with your photos...and your words. They have inspired me in so many ways...In all your photographed stillness, I chuckled at the expression of your egret.
Today, I was still...and the tension in my arms is finally releasing. By evening, I could pick up my paintbrush and "see" what I was to paint...BLISS!

We've started meditating at night... I've learned about identifying emotions and pushing them along... out of the "line of thought" :) Feeling "liquid", to me, is like a ripple in a pond... move the bad stuff away and your mind will slowly feel calmer :)
oommmmmm.......thank you for the lovely soothing stillness.
Silence in golden and only then can these small sounds be heard.
beautiful photos! xo
I still need to relax more (= trust life itself more), am dreaming of being liquid, or light. Beautiful post!
Oh, that we would rediscover the art of stillness. Loved the post. You have a real gift for putting words to your pics/art.
Take good care,
Karen
This is just what I've been doing when I go to my "new" secret beach to listen for the clams. I find the more still I become, the more I let the sounds come to me (rather than the other way around) — the symphony will begin and I feel at one with nature. I'm so happy they've let me into their world.
Truly inspirational, both you and the clams.
Hugs
