Blue lilies

	sometimes the luckiest flower, isn't a flower at all & sometimes the garden it grows in isn't encased in a wall
	you nourish you cipher you labor you bend & you stretch & you toil
	you reach for my hand to dance me in the sand & the mud of our soil
	sometimes when I see my reflection I wonder, how can you ignore?
	but always... forever & always you're my constant, my light at the shore
	you are my watery gardener who carries me down to the sea
	you plant the seeds for blue lilies & then you set blue lilies free
	your devotion sustains my joyful heart keeps hope in my field of view if you had to stop tending the weeds of my life, I'd find a way, somehow, my darling... to tend our blue lilies & you
